Well!  What an extraordinary couple of weeks it has been!

Last Saturday I was chosen by the Telegraph as one of their 20 most creative florists in the UK - wow, what an enormous honour!

There are some amazing talents in there and I feel extremely privileged to be included amongst them.

I had actually been in The Telegraph a couple of weeks before as well, a lovely piece speaking to lots of the growers around the country about the resurgence in the popularity of local and British grown flowers.

Thanks to the wonderful Flowers from the Farm I count myself very lucky to know all of the growers mentioned and how hard they work to get their flowers perfect for all their customers.

Then the very lovely Charlotte Leeming approached me to appear on Look North, our local BBC news here in Yorkshire. We wandered through my gardens, round the cutting beds and chatted about growing and using flowers in Yorkshire, all the time pretending a great big camera wasn't pointing at us! ( I'm afraid the link has expired now though!)

I also appeared in the most illustrious of garden magazines, Gardens Illustrated, talking about locally grown flowers and some of the lengths I go to to use British flowers in my work and how I still want to do it, even though it's not always the easiest option available to me.

Then, last but most certainly not least, Rona of the fabulous flower blog Flowerona, featured my previous post about why I use British flowers on her blog.

So, combined with my weddings and other events it's been a busy and lovely few weeks!

A huge thank you to all who featured me and my work
